<p>1. Musical Instruments</p>
<p>Covering the spectrum of interaction design. Fine levels of detail in early instruments didn&#8217;t always take off. They need to be efficient control systems &#8211; like, say the computer mouse.</p>
<p>Introducing  <a href="http://www.lwk.dk/TAP/TAP_content.html">tapTap</a> &#8211; the box with a hammer that hits the surface infront of it at a 3 second delay to it&#8217;s input tap made by the user tapping the top of the box.</p>
<p>The Beatbox is a similar product that can take inputs from multiple sources and use them together (ie. one human, one robotic). A central control box (the robot part) also acts as a tempo setting device to sync attached devices.</p>
<p>Kids and nerds rejoyce at the scope of how to use the products, often finding uses outside of the designer&#8217;s original purposes.</p>
<p>An attendee asks if there could be scope for the products to interact with the Arduino previously mentioned.</p>
<p>The reply was that the visual demo video gave to us hid the G4 Apple computer that was running the show. Now I am using the live devices you&#8217;ve seen today by attaching them to (holds up) this Arduino device!</p>
